TO MAKE A CALL

1) lift the handset

2) press a free line key or dial 9

3) when you hear the dial tone proceed with your dialing

TO ANSWER A CALL RINGING ON YOUR PHONE

1) lift the handset

2) the ringing line will be automatically answered

3) proceed with the call

TO TRANSFER A CALL TO ANOTHER STATION

1) you are connected to a line

2) press the Cnf/Trn key and dial the extension number

3) stay on the line to announce the call if you wish to

4) hang up and the call will be transferred

TO CALL ANOTHER STATION

1) lift the handset

2) dial the extension number of the person you are calling

TO PLACE AND RETRIEVE A CALL ON HOLD

1) you are connected to a line, press the red Hold key

2) note which line is holding

3) to retrieve the call press the green flashing Line key

ABR - AUTO BUSY REDIAL

1) When dialing an outside line and you get a busy signal:

2) press ABR key and hang up

3) The phone will dial the number automatically up to 15 times. When the line becomes available you will hear it ring through the speaker. Pick up the handset and proceed with the call.

4) to cancel press the ABR key again

ACB – AUTOMATIC CALLBACK

1) When you dial a busy extension you can set a callback to notify you when the line is free.

2) press ACB key and hang up

3) When the line is free you will hear your phone beep beep, pick up your handset and the other set will ring.

4) to cancel press ACB again

PAGE

1) lift handset

2) press PAGE key or # 30

3) announce your page

4) hang up gently or press release

TO STORE A SPEED DIAL NUMBER

1) Speed dial codes are 10 - 49 for personal and 60 - 90 for system speed dials. Each phone can store and access its own personal speed dials. The system speed dials are stored at station 10 and can be accessed by all phones.

2) leave handset on hook

3) press REDIAL key then SDS key

4) enter 2 digit speed dial code

5) enter the phone numbered to be stored at this code (9 + number)

6) press REDIAL to save to memory

7) write down the codes and numbers for your reference

TO MAKE A SPEED DIAL CALL

1) lift the handset

2) press SDS key

3) enter 2 digit speed dial code

4) the number will dial automatically, proceed with call

TO STORE A SPEED DIAL WITH A NAME ON LCD PHONES

1) leave handset on hook

2) press REDIAL key then SDS key

3) enter 2 digit speed dial code (10-49 personal, 60-90 system)

4) press Mode key followed by # (to access alphabet)

5) enter the name using the key pad:

1 moves the cursor to the right

* moves the cursor to the left

# alternates between alpha and numeric

0 shifts between the 3 letters on each key

The following special characters are set by pressing 1 and then pressing 0 to step through the available characters:

Q, Z, :, -, +, /.

6) press Mode button

7) enter phone number to be stored ( 9 + number)

8) press REDIAL key to record the number in memory

TO MAKE A SPEED DIAL CALL

1) lift the handset

2) press SDS key

3) enter 2 digit speed dial code

4) the number will dial automatically, proceed with call
