	What about the Sony J-3 VTR which plays back Beta-Oxide, -SP, -SX, -IMX, and DigiBeta.  Which head cleaner do you use on the deck???

This information just came from our product & marketing group.  We're seeing a big increase in interest in the Beta IMX format.  This will be a key technology for Sony going forward.  So, here's the latest advisory...


To all: we have had some questions on what tape cleaner to use for IMX VTRs and per our factory information the following applies:

Please strongly recommend the use the BCT-HD12CL Cleaning Tape in the IMX VTRs.

The use of the BCT-D12CL (Digital Betacam) cleaning tape in an IMX VTR can cause serious problems.  Please make sure your customers know.
